The International Seminar of Asia Scene Art Projects 2015
亚洲现场当代艺术机构在2014年集合了当代中国一批最优秀的艺术家和策划人，于2014年8月初首次赴武汉的城中村和孝感小河镇开展一场以“变幻现场”为主题的艺术创作，针对在快速发展的城市建设运动中所遗留的阶段性废墟和被迅速的商业化所边缘的乡村古街展开了一系列的讨论和交流，同时艺术家还在社会的问题现场随即开展了现场的艺术创作 。。。。。。回到北京后成立了以“亚洲现场”命名的当代艺术空间。
Asia Scene， an organisation for contemporary art， gleaned the best artists and curators of China in 2014 and made its first trip to Chengzhong Village in Wuhan and Xiaohe Town in Xiaogan in early August for an artistic creation on the theme of “Varying Scenes”。 A string of discussions and communications were focused on the periodic ruins left behind by rocketing urban construction and the old rural streets marginalised by rapid commercialisation。 Artists improvised on the real scenes of social problems。 Later as the group returned to Beijing， a contemporary art space named “Asia Scene” was founded。

2014年10月亚洲现场策划实施了《从历史的现场到社会主义新农村——天水/庆阳》艺术项目。这次项目试图在现场中深挖出城乡之间所遭遇的在现代化进程中的流动与冲刷，以及在中国现实与历史语境中来审视个体等多元因素所构成的社会历史谱系。
In October 2014， Asia Scene planned and implemented an art project called “From a Historical Scene to a New Socialist Countryside： Tianshui/Qingyang”。 This project attempted to explore the flow and wash that cities and the countryside were undergoing in the face of modernisation as well as observed the socio-historical pedigree made up of individuals and other multiple factors in the realities and historical context of China。

2015年5月亚洲现场艺术空间组织艺术家来到中越边境，实施了跨越国界线的艺术项目《边界与边缘——广西凭祥/越南同登》。此项目的核心就是对国际化的中心主义话语系统提出疑问，使“被动边缘化”演变为“主动边缘化”，而不是从中心主义的角度来看待边缘的态度。以积极的态度去创造、实践，。。。。。。为国际艺术系统提供一种新的能量补充。
In May 2015， Asia Scene summoned artists to the border between China and Vietnam， where the art project “Border and Margin： Pingxiang， Guangxi/ Đồng Đăng， Vietnam” was conducted across the borderline。 The core of this project was to question the internationalised centralistic discourse system， converting the “passive marginalisation” to “active marginalisation” rather than treating marginal attitudes from a centralistic perspective。 It creates and practises with a positive attitude and supplies the international art system with a new energy。
2015年8月策划实施了《个人现场——西藏/四川》艺术项目。本次针对的是个人现场，不设统一命题，在西藏独特的自然环境也在潜移默化中给予艺术家们共同的影响，艺术家们借以此时此地的不可替代的在地性对头脑中的即成观念进行消毒，沉浸式的体验构成了创新的基础。
In August 2015， “Individual Scenes： Tibet/Sichuan” was planned and done。 This project concentrated on individual scenes without unified theming。 The unique natural environment of Tibet provided artists with shared influence unknowingly， and the artists filtrated their existent minds with the irreplaceable locality of that time being。 The immersive experience built up the base for creation。
2015年9月策划实施了第一个艺术家个人项目《黄土。2015——李继开甘肃项目》。艺术家李继开再次回到2014年《从历史的现场到社会主义新农村——天水/庆阳》项目的实施地点进行创作，是艺术家对上次项目的延续和生发。
In September 2015， Asia Scene organised the first personal project for an artist， “Yellow Earth 2015： Li Jikai’s Gansu Project”。 Artist Li Jikai made his return to the locale where “From a Historical Scene to a new Socialist Countryside： Tianshui/Qingyang” took place in 2014， and this was an extension and fermentation to the previous trial。
以上项目的现场实践后，急需进行学术研讨与梳理总结。“亚洲现场”决定于2015年10月17至18日在四川省南部县陈家大院召开“亚洲现场艺术项目国际学术研讨会”，会议研讨亚洲现场当代艺术机构通过近两年的项目工作并从三个方面议题进行学术讨论：一，社会与历史的变迁；二，个体肉身的现场；三，民间的根性，对此做出了阶段性地讨论和项目总结。会议取得学术成果颇丰，这将为“亚洲现场”未来的发展提供有意义的学术理论支撑。
Academic discussions and summary were needed after the onsite execution of the aforesaid projects。 Asia Scene decided to hold an “International Seminar on Asia Scene’s Art Projects” on October 17 and 18， 2015， at the Chen’s Mansion in Nanbu County， Sichuan Province。 The seminar focused on the projects over the past two years that Asia Scene had worked on and discoursed upon the following three topics： first， Social and Historical Transitions； second， Scenes of Personal Corporeality； third， The Nature of Grassroots。 A retrospective discussion and summary of the projects were carried out。 The academic fruition of the seminar was remarkable， which has provided significant support of theory for the development of Asia Scene in the future。
